About Me
I’m a data, metadata & analytics geek with the ability to help teams map their visions, goals and roadmaps onto executable plans that can be measured and managed. I’ll take the opportunity to pitch in with data collection and analytics, and when the need arises I’ll grab a shovel and help dig out of the ugliest of situations.
My experience includes leadership roles in Product Management, UX, Documentation, Field Engineering and Professional Services. I’ve played multiple roles at companies as large as IBM and Oracle, contributed to successful exits at companies as small as Pentaho (Hitachi) and Datawatch (Altair), and to new offerings at Jahia and Domino Data Labs.
My Journey
Developer
Product
Manager
Transformational
Leader
As a developer I learned the ins and outs of working across platforms and the rhythm of constantly changing technology. My love of SQL is forever, but I’ve allowed python into my life.
As a product manager I learned the nature of the role in bringing together diverse internal and external stakeholders, finding the often narrow and winding path to success at the bleeding edge of technology in a way that offers reliability, ease of use and impactful results for companies AND customers.
As a leader I learned that listening and balancing perspectives is critical to defining a vision and building a plan that is understood and can be executed in a sustainable way.
